Supporting up to 24 x 2.5-inch (SFF) drives, it is designed for high-density performance and efficiency. A key advantage of the SC220 is its flash-optimized architecture, allowing for a tiered combination of write-intensive SLC SSDs, read-intensive MLC SSDs, and traditional high-capacity SAS drives. With a 6Gb/s SAS interface and Fresh Air technology, this enclosure can operate at higher temperatures, reducing cooling costs in the data center. It delivers a maximum capacity of 38.4 TB per chassis and ensures high availability with redundant 700W power supplies.
