The HPE MSA 2042 is an entry-level SAN storage platform designed for application acceleration using flash technology. It comes standard with a 800GB Solid State Drive (SSD) and an all-inclusive software suite. The built-in real-time tiering engine automatically moves frequently accessed data to high-performance flash media while keeping less critical data on lower-cost HDDs. With support for up to 512 snapshots and remote replication, the MSA 2042 ensures data availability and quick recovery. It is a highly scalable system, allowing users to mix SSD, Enterprise SAS, and Midline SAS drives as their business grows.
