OKA...-...E Self-supporting suspended dielectric optical cable based on modular construction with glass filaments
The OKA-D Self-Supporting Dielectric Cable (by Soyuz-Kabel) is a high-performance ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) solution designed for long-span aerial installations and underground duct environments. Reinforced with fiberglass yarns, this cable offers a superior tensile strength of at least 3.0 kN, ensuring stability under wind and ice loads.
Since it contains no metallic components, it is immune to electromagnetic interference and can be safely installed on power line supports with electrical field potentials up to 25 kV. Its stranded modular core supports high-density fiber counts up to 288 fibers. The OKA-D is versatile enough for pneumatic blowing into pipes, installation in cable sewers, and deployment across bridges. It is engineered to withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -60°C to +70°C.
