OKA...-...E Self-supporting suspended fiber-optic cable based on modular design
The OKA-D Self-Supporting Dielectric Cable (by Soyuz-Kabel) is an ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) solution designed for backbone networks. Its stranded modular core supports high-density fiber counts of up to 288 fibers, providing maximum scalability for urban and industrial telecommunications.
Reinforced with aramid or fiberglass yarns, the OKA-D offers superior tensile strength (min. 3.0 kN) while remaining lightweight and flexible. Since it contains no metal, it is immune to EMI and lightning strikes, making it suitable for suspension on power line poles (up to 25 kV). Beyond aerial deployment, it is compatible with pneumatic pipe installation and cable ducting in tunnels and bridges.
