OCT2C-T is a "flat" suspended optical cable based on a central tube with two parallel dielectric peripheral power elements in the shell
The OKT2C-T Flat Aerial Fiber Optic Cable is a compact, self-supporting solution designed for last-mile deployments and short-span aerial connections between buildings. Its streamlined design features a central loose tube protected by two parallel dielectric strength members (FRP rods) embedded within the outer polyethylene jacket.
Being entirely dielectric, it is immune to electromagnetic interference and lightning strikes, making it safe for installation on power lines and railway utility poles. The flat profile effectively reduces wind loading, and its ultra-lightweight construction (20 kg/km) significantly simplifies handling and installation. This cable is built to endure extreme temperatures ranging from -60°C to +70°C.
