The modular design includes 8 I/O slots, supporting up to 384 x 10GbE or 64 x 40GbE ports. It features advanced L2/L3 capabilities, including TRILL and IRF for creating large-scale resilient fabrics. Powered by the Comware operating system, it supports ISSU for seamless software updates and a distributed architecture for high availability.
