Extreme Networks Summit X770 Series Stackable Switches
The Extreme Networks Summit X770 is a high-density, low-latency 40 Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for high-performance enterprise and cloud data centers. As a purpose-built Top-of-Rack (ToR) switch, it supports both high-speed 40GbE server connections and legacy 10GbE systems via breakout cables, offering an agile path to network virtualization.
Equipped with 32 QSFP+ ports, the X770 delivers non-blocking switching performance of up to 2.56 Tbps. It features industry-leading cut-through switching with sub-600ns latency, making it the preferred choice for latency-sensitive applications like financial trading clusters. Powered by the robust ExtremeXOS modular operating system, the X770 provides high availability with features like M-LAG, EAPS, and redundant, hot-swappable power supplies.
